Paediatric Microbiome Mapping 3-17 years

The Paediatric Biome mapping is a comprehensive stool analysis designed to evaluate the gut microbiome, digestive function, and overall gastrointestinal health of children and adolescents aged 3–17 years. The gut microbiome plays a vital role in digestion, immune system regulation, nutrient metabolism and gut barrier integrity throughout childhood and adolescence.

This advanced panel combines shotgun metagenomic sequencing with functional gastrointestinal and biochemical markers to provide a detailed overview of microbial balance and gut function. Using a simple stool sample, the test assesses microbial diversity, beneficial bacteria, potential pathogens, inflammatory markers, digestive capacity, intestinal permeability, and short-chain fatty acid production.
